Crown of Thorns is a Great Plant for Your Greenhouse

Common Name: Crown of Thorns

Light Needs: High light with some direct sun.

Best Temperatures: Room temperature.

Water and Humidity Requirements: Let it dry between waterings and reduce watering in winter.

Growing Guidelines: Grow in clay pots with an all-purpose soil mix. Fertilize twice a month, except in winter.

Common Problems: Plant will sulk if placed in a drafty spot.

Propagation: Tip cuttings but let dry for 24 hours before rooting in sand.

Interest Fact: This plant produces a milky sap that can be irritating.
